A Foundation of Excellence
The "Technical Crew," as it is fondly called, stands as one of the pioneering departments of the Household of God Church. Formally established in 1988, shortly after the church's founding in 1987, it was birthed to provide the essential infrastructure for modern worship.
Our mandate is the comprehensive installation and maintenance of the church's vital systems. From light fittings to complex electrical and electronic systems—including air-conditioners, professional musical equipment, and power generators—the crew ensures that every mechanical component of the sanctuary operates with divine efficiency.

Sacrifice & The "Lights-On" Deadline
The Christmas project is a mammoth undertaking that begins every October 1st. For two months, members are in the church all day, every day, sacrificing personal time to ensure the strict December 1st "lights-on" deadline is met. It is an intensive labor of love that transforms our street into a beacon of light for the whole city to see.
Currently comprising 35 specialists, the team meets every second Saturday for prayer and worship, joining faith on personal issues of life. Under the graceful and purposeful leadership of Pat Otuechere-Obakude, we continue to pray for divine enablement to do that which He has called us to do. As we light up His house, He decorates our lives for the world to see and glorify His name.
